Delete your account

You can delete your Sportspeople Community account yourself at any time, from the app or by email. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

From the app

Open the app (web, iPhone or Android) and sign in.
Go to Me and scroll to the bottom of the page.
Tap Delete my account and confirm.

By email

If you no longer have access to the app, write to [email protected] from the email address linked to your account. We delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

Your account and everything linked to it: profile, picture and the town you entered, activities you posted, RSVPs, posts and photos, chat messages, game and challenge history, points and badges, market listings, the sales you recorded, saved searches, your collection, and the push-notification token of your devices. Nothing is kept for other purposes.

One thing leaves a little later: where a community shows a monthly price summary of confirmed sales (no names, listings or dates), your identity is removed from it at once, and every batch of sales that holds one of yours is removed at its next monthly update, on the 1st.

What is not affected

Messages other members sent, and activities other members organised, stay in place. Your name no longer appears on them.
